There is a SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Exhibition in the Gallery until 24th August.
An Art Group, called "Amity", comprising of Carol Clue, Colleen Gates, Pat Low, Dorothy Beverley, Brian Windebank, Chris Pisani, Mike Way, Phil Bolding and Dianne Vagg, has a display of works in three rooms of the Gallery.
Their work includes watercolours, acrylics, and a lovely selection of Textile Pieces by Pat Low with paper collage and fine felted landscapes. Colleen Gates has been busy with her knitting needles and has a display of her winter hats and scarfs, and Chris Pisani has some wonderful paintings of vintage cars on show.
Shirley Shaw, with her collection called Fun, Funky and Functional, is showing her talent once again with work including fantasy dolls, beading, feltwork, and jewellery to suit all tastes.
The official opening of this Exhibition by the Mayor of Playford, Martin Lindsell, was attended by almost a hundred well wishers, and there has been a steady stream of visitors to the Gallery since then.
