Julia Mannix with one of her Mosaics |
By 7 local Mosaic Artists: Julia Mannix, Sandra Sullivan, Pat Low, Lisa Wittholz, Sandra Zachopoulos, Trudy Pfeiffer and Lyn Ainslee. The wide range of mosaic work will be on show in the two upstairs rooms - 'The Overland' and 'The Gahn'. Reflecting the personal journey of all those involved, these mosaics show the diversity of this stunning and decorative art form.
This is an early SALA event - a “must see” for anyone interested in mosaics!
GAWLER ART SOCIETY
G.A.S. (Gawler Art Society) will present their annual Exhibition downstairs in the 'Tea and Sugar' Exhibition room. Many members will be exhibiting their work, which will include watercolour, pastel, oil, and acrylic, as well as some charcoal drawings. Among this group are some 'Award' winning artists. I am only sorry not to have more on this lovely group to share with you all.

This is a well known group of friends who have been exhibiting their art for many years, at vrious venues around South Australia, their work covers a wide variety of subjects and media.
I have heard that there will be some miniatures and a lot off animals this year, and I am sure we will also see Landscapes as well. Located downstairs in the 'Red Hen' exhibition room.
